The role
We are looking for a project architect to lead one of our next houses or small cultural buildings. You will work directly with Inês or Tomás, run the design team day to day, and be the main contact for clients, consultants and the contractor.
You care about proportion and detail in equal measure, and you enjoy the time on site as much as the time at the drawing board.
Responsibilities
- 01Lead design from concept through technical design and construction
- 02Coordinate engineers and specialist consultants
- 03Prepare planning applications and meet municipalities
- 04Run tender processes and administer building contracts
- 05Mentor one or two junior architects
Requirements
- Registered architect (Ordem dos Arquitectos or equivalent EU registration)
- At least six years of experience, including two completed buildings
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Confident in Revit or ArchiCAD, and in hand drawing
- A driving licence, as our sites are often rural
