An architecture and interiors studio in Lisbon. We design houses, rooms and small public buildings that stay calm for decades.

Manifesto

We design houses, rooms and small public buildings for the long, slow life of a place. We begin with the sun, the ground and the walls already standing, and add only what is needed. Thick walls, deep reveals, honest materials that age well. Fewer gestures, held longer. A building should feel calm on its first day and better on its fortieth.

“They listened for a whole summer before they drew a single line. The house feels as if it had always been waiting for us.”
