Statement
In 2022 I made one photograph of a house every week, alternating between the country around Tallinn and the edges of Lisbon. The northern pictures are of timber and brick under heavy skies; the southern ones of white walls behind grasses and gardens.
I never waited for good weather. Together the fifty-two pictures are a calendar of two latitudes, and a catalogue of the ways people build for the sky they have.
